The Java Verified process consists of a sequence of steps through which applications must pass. The process begins with the developer preparing and submitting a Java™ ME Technology MIDP application for testing. Following is a quick reference for preparing an application for submission. See About the Java Verified Process for more detailed information.
1. Prepare & Submit your Java ME Technology MIDP application
-
Make sure that your application meets the criteria as defined in the UTI Test Criteria document . Identify the target device(s) for your application from the Java Verified Program Table of Supported Devices
-
Each developer entering the program must complete the Java Verified Program Agreement and return signed copies to Java Verified Program Office according to the procedure described in the contract. In addition, developer must, for each application submitted for testing, complete and submit a separate Exhibit B according to description. Developer only have to sign the full agreement once but provide an Exhibit B for each application. The signing of the agreement allows you to take part in the program, submit applications for testing and signing and also enable you to use the Java Powered logo to promote your application, if your application passes testing.
