This tool enables you to work out the amount of testing application needs to gain the Java Verified endorsement.
Please remember that the tool requires Java 6 on your computer.
It starts with a double click on the "JVTestsCalculator.jar".
Alternatively, the following command can be used from the command line: 'java -jar JVTestsCalculator.jar'.
We suggest you download a new version of this calculator on a regular basis, as it's updated with a new list of devices every time a new list is available.
If, however, you'd rather use your existing version of the calculator, and upload the new device xml yourself, then please replace the "Devices.xml" in the "devices" folder of the calculator with the latest version each time a new one is available.
Please note that Mac users may experience some difficulties in unpacking the ZIP file. Should this be the case, please use the gunzip command from the terminal instead.
