The demand for Java Verified apps is higher than ever.
We're keen to give you as many tools as possible to show off your accredication.
Once your app's achieved Java Verified accreditation, all you need to do to prove it to the carrier or app store owner is to show them the amended JAD file.
And the consumer? Yes, they can know about it too. Just embed the Java Powered logo in your app, and the endorsement will come up when the app's installed.
Please note: if you're submitting your app to the Submission Portal and would like to include the Java Powered™ logo, please read the information below, contact us and we'll send you the files.
Quite simply - if your app's successfully been through the Java Verified programme, the JAD file will have been amended to include reference to this.
That's how everyone will know.
And once the application itself has been signed, this certifies that it has been tested, and the level of quality achieved. Your customers can then be assured that the application has not been changed since being tested.

The use of the Java Powered™ logo shows the world that your app is Java Verified. If you want to integrate the Java Powered™ logo into your app, you'll need to have embedded it into your app prior to submitting it into the Submissions Portal.
Embed the Java PoweredTM logo on the splash screen or "about" screen of any application.
But that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to use it.
Let us explain...
If your app passes the tests outlined in the Java Verified Unified Testing Criteria, your app will be signed. If you've installed the Java Powered™ logo into your app, then all is well - you'll be able to use it. (And whether you choose to use the logo or not, your JAD file will need to be amended - before the app is signed - to reflect your JV status.)
If, however, during the app testing process, your app doesn't pass the section that checks the application's likeliness of being found unfit for publication based on local laws, then you won't be granted permission to use the Java Powered™ logo, and will be asked to remove it before your app is signed. Assuming all other tests are passed however, your JV status will still be reflected in your JAD file.
If you're granted the Java Verified endorsement and the Java Powered logo, we encourage you to use it wherever you can. It's your 'badge of honour'.
If you're submitting your app to the Submission Portal and would like to include the Java Powered™ logo, please contact us and we'll send you the files.
